What do you want from your new home?

Write a wish list of the requirements and ideas you have for your new home, such as the amount of living space, how many bedrooms you would like, are you going to build a garage etc, your home needs to suit you and your families lifestyle.

Just as your home must suit you it to must suit its home, consider the size of your site, the buildings which surround you, do you have any planning restraints? Think about the access to your site and it’s boundaries, trees, site levels, overhead cables, services. Site surveys can be useful to give practical advice, and information required for building regulations.

Getting started

A full building regulation application needs to be made before any work can start on site, we can work with you to produce building regulation information. It is also a good idea to have a time scale for the build broken down into various stages this gives you a guide to work to and a check list to ensure nothing is missed throughout the build.

You will need to consider various items for on the site such as:

Security For building materials, tools and other pieces of equipment needed throughout the build.

Safety Every year many injuries are caused through bad building practice

Scaffolding A reputable scaffolding firm who abide by current H&S regulations should be used.

Delivery to site will be arranged at a time to suit you, were our erectors will be waiting ready to unload the delivery. Before the delivery we will send time with you to make sure everything is ready on site and give you a time scale for the erection. Most homes are erected within a matter of days, and can be then made waterproof for contractors to work simultaneously inside and out; this process is often 30% faster than that of a brick and block alternative.

Timber frame is an environmentally sound, clean, fast process of construction we are confident by working together we can help you turn your project goals into a reality. Contact us today to discuss your ideas, or to request a brochure.
